![]() While this one does look pretty neat, its appearance is not without flaws.įirst of all, the key legends are not great. I’ve seen these online before and always thought they looked cool. The AestheticĪs I mentioned, I was pretty excited to receive a typewriter-style keyboard to review. Unfortunately, the board itself didn’t really live up to that hype. So, when I opened it and saw a typewriter style, I was pretty hyped. The box for this Royal Kludge Typewriter keyboard was deceiving - the picture displayed normal, square-shaped keys. Nonetheless, I’m always excited to receive more from Sypnotix as they are one of my favorite things to test out. Maybe just try it out first with a different wireless board.I have quite the pile of keyboards in my closet. there was a point that I was doing it and eventually I gave up removing the cable from the board. also I did really want the whole clean aesthetic and all but honestly retuning a cable gets so tiresome and you forget. not sure what's out there but I hope that helps. I wouldn't oblige you to buy an 800-dollar keyboard though, but maybe you can find either a way to fix the 2.4 or maybe consider a Bluetooth 5.0 keyboard. I later found out that it was Bluetooth 5.0 and I tried it out, it's pretty good. I did move on from lookin for a solution a little from it and bought a cyber board. I went on some forums and discussions and they told me the aluminum would not work out well with an aluminum case. ![]() So I guess ill have to apologize for a little for a lazy answer, but I did do some research and I was also looking for an aluminum keyboard that would be wireless. but with the LED going out, and relatively short battery life, I already returned it to Amazon. I work from home, and game after work, so I am sitting at my desk a lot each day. ![]() and it went from 100% to 50% battery life in that same 6 hours of use. However, after less than 6 hours of use, the LED on my Delete key went out, dead. I will say that after about 30 minutes of use the 2.4 started working wonderfully. It really sucks because I love the feel of these switches and keycaps. but the point of buying it for me was going wireless to reduce desk clutter. If I can sell this K100 I might pick up the G915.Īlso considered just drilling a small hole in my desk and desk mat, stitching the desk mat up for cleanliness, to pass through the cable for the K100, coming up through my desk to hide it. I don't know how I feel about spending that kind of money on a keyboard anymore. I bought a K95 Platinum XT last year, and it was upgraded to a new in box K100 through RMA about 2 months ago. Was thinking about picking up the G915 TKL, as it's been said they have 40 hours battery life with 100% LED brightness.
